ENB Region 1 Completed Applications 03/16/2005

The applicant proposes to construct a new 59 slip marina at the site of a former marina. Activities include: excavation of a 10' by 60' upland area and a 55' by 80' irregular upland area to a depth of -6 feet below mean low water to create 4500 square feet of tidal wetlands known as littoral zone (SM/LZ), reconstruct 188' of bulkhead within 18" of the existing bulkhead and 18" higher in elevation,  and constructing 155' of new bulkhead, 25' of which will close off an existing boat slip.  In addition, the applicant proposes to dredge within the boat basin to a depth of -6 feet below mean low water. Approximately 850 cubic yards of dredged material will be placed within the boatslip resulting in the loss of approximately 2700 square feet of SM/LZ.  The remainder of the dredge material will be placed landward of the bulkhead as backfill.  Also proposed is replacement of an existing 1.5' by 77' catwalk with a 4' by 77' catwalk, installation of two ramps leading to two 6' by 100' floating docks, a 6' by 45' float and a 4' by 350' boardwalk.  An existing building at the site is proposed to be converted for use as a clubhouse, with installation of wood decking and steps.  The project is located at River Avenue and Noxon Street, Patchogue, Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, SCTM# 0204-16-1-14, 18.2 & 18.3.

Applicant proposes to construct 265 linear feet of new bulkhead along the line of average high water , 70 linear feet of new bulkhead below the line of average high water, and place 100 cys of backfill. Project is located on Little Neck Point, Centerport.

The applicant proposes to maintenance dredge a 30 foot by 37 foot area seaward of the bulkhead on Silver Beach Harbor (canal) to a depth of 4 feet below apparent low water with resultant 80 cubic yards of material to be placed on the upland portion of the property.  The project is located at the northern end of East Brander Parkway, Shelter Island, SCTM #700-22-1-130.
