The applicant proposes to construct a three story health club with168 paved parking spaces, retaining walls and fences.  A stormwater recharge system wil be installed which will provide 13,328 cubic feet of storage volume.  Overflow will be channeled via a bubbler and rip rap channel to the existing creek.  Regrade and restore approximately 330 ft. of slope and wetland areas along the eastern edge of the property.  The property is located at East Shore Road & Bayview Avenue, Thomaston, Town of North Hempstead, County of Nassau, Tax Map No. 3-350-11, 14.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.
