Suffolk County - The Town of Islip Department of Planning and Development, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Central Islip Venture, LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a modification of deed convenants and restrictions in order to construct and operate a multi-tenant shopping center totaling approximately 309,000 square feet. The applicant also seeks to modify approved restaurant spaces on the property. The project is bounded by North Research Drive to the north, by Carleton Avenue to the east, by South Research Drive to the south and by Creative Drive to the west in Central Islip, Long Island.
