Madison County - The Town Board of the Town of Smithfield, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of Town of Smithfield Local Law 2004-1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of a local law affecting text amendments to the Town of Smithfield Building and Development Control Law (zoning law) which modified existing regulations for the placement of mobile homes and instituted new regulations for the placement of towers, wind generation units and driveways. The project is located townwide.

Madison County - The Town Board of the Town of Fenner, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed adoption of Town of Fenner Local Law 2005-1 and special permit application of Green Power Energy, LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a zoning map change and special permit application for the development of a 9.0 megawatt wind powered electricity generation facility utilizing five tower/turbine units on an approximately 114 acre site owned by David M. Senehi. The project is located north of Cody Road (County Route 28) approximately 0.4 miles east of South Road.

Tioga County - The Tioga County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency has determined that the proposed Route 434 Property may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves establishing suitable parameters for a future, phased mixed use development (based on the "Mixed Use Concept Development and Market Analysis", The Saratoga Associates, 2003) including single family, two family and multi-family townhouse residences, professional offices, light and high-tech manufacturing, and development-scale/servicing retails uses. The project is located at 130 Southside Drive, Owego, NY.
