Applicant proposes to install one irrigation well which will be 400 feet deep and is 12" in diameter.  The well is designed for a capacity of 750 gallons per minute.  The property (North Hills Country Club) is located is located on the Long Island Expressway service road, Manhasset, Town of North Hempstead.

The applicant proposes to construct and operate a C & D debris and recyclables  handling facility processing up to 1000 cubic yards per day of material.  The new facility replaces a facility several streets over to the southeast on Hopper Street that was permitted for 449 cubic yards per day.  The new facility location is proposed for 117 Magnolia Street, Westbury NCTM # 11-141-26 to 32 & 51 to 58.

Applicant proposes to demolish an existing single family dwelling and construct a new single family dwelling within 39 feet of  a NYSDEC  regulated freshwater wetland, with ground disturbance within 20 feet of the wetland. Existing sanitary system is to be removed and a new sanitary system is proposed within 73' of the regulated freshwater wetland. Project is located on Plandome Road, Plandome Manor.

The Department has prepared a Draft Permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air State Facility) of the New York State Environmental Conservation Law (ECL) and made a tentative determination to approve this application for the Applicant’s facility located on Bethpage-Spagnoli Road,  Town of Huntington Suffolk County, New York.

The facility consists of a Sand and Gravel processing operation that includes a stationary internal combustion diesel generator engine (Sand Engine) to provide electrical power to the facility's equipment.  The Sand Engine is a Caterpillar 3412 machine with a rated capacity of 810 brake horsepower (bhp).

The operation of Sand Engine will be restricted to 3,000 hours per year to limit the oxides of nitrogen (NOx) emissions to less than the major source threshold of 25 tons per year. This will allow the facility to operate as a minor source and not requiring to comply with the NOx RACT requirements as prescribed in 6NYCRR Part 2272.  The facility will be permitted under the New York State regulations 6NYCRR Part 201-5 (State Facility Permits) and Part 201-7 (Federally Enforceable Emission Caps), and will be subjected to the state regulations Part 225-1 (Fuel Sulfur Content) and Part 227-1 (Stationary Combustion Installations).

By acceptance of these conditions, the applicant agrees that the permit is contingent upon strict compliance with ECL, all applicable regulations, the General Conditions specified and any special conditions as part of this permit.  The Application and Draft Permit are available for review at the Regional Office of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling, pool, garage, sanitary system and driveway in the adjacent area of a freshwater wetland.  The project is located at 132 Mill Pond Road, Water Mill, Town of Southampton, SCTM # 900-101-3-24.

The applicant proposes to install a well for irrigation of nursery stock.  The well will be 10" in diameter with a capacity to pump 400 gallons per minute.  The well will be installed to a depth of 110 feet.  The property is located at 12795 Oregon Road, Cutchogue, Town of Southold.
