Pursuant to the Environmental Conservation Law, Sections 13-0307 and 13-0319, the Department of Environmental Conservation hereby gives notice of the following:

Notice of Adoption for 6NYCRR Part 41 relating to the sanitary condition of shellfish lands. This notice will be published in issue 7 of the State Register, dated 2/16/2005.

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Jefferson Hollow will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a land subdivision for six (6) lots with a cul-de-sac road extension in the Village’s Single Family R-B2 District with a minimum lot size of 15,000 sq. ft. The project is located on the east side of High Street approximately 850 feet north of Stony Hill Road in the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson, Suffolk County, New York (SCTM No. 206-017-02-013.001 & 014.001).

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Babylon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Poly Realty, LLC will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves demolition of former Polytech University buildings and redeveloping site for retail use. The project is located on the e/s New York State Route 110, 3790.62' s/o Conklin Street, East Farmingdale, Town of Babylon, Suffolk County, New York, SCTM #0100-71-01-1, 2, 3.2 and 4.

Positive Declaration

Suffolk County - The Planning Department of the Town of Riverhead, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Amendments at Enterprise Park at Calverton may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a motion to amend the Zoning Use District Map of the Town of Riverhead to provide for the Planned Industrial Park Zoning Use District to the exclusion of the current Planned Recreational Park Zoning Use District upon approximately 590 acres located at the Enterprise Park at Calverton. The project is located north of Grumman Blvd and south of SR25, Calverton, Riverhead Township, Suffolk County

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS And Public Hearing

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Babylon, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Deer Park Enterprises (Tanger) Planning Board Job. No. 2004-11AFN. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on February 28, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Babylon Town Board Meeting Room, Babylon Town Hall, 200 East Sunrise Highway, North Lindenhurst, New York. Comments are requested and will be accepted by the contact person until March 18, 2005. The action involves a retail development on 81 acre Industrial site which includes the demolition of existing structures, approximately 900,000 square feet of proposed building area, 4,723 parking stalls and associated site improvements. The project is located on the north side Grand Blvd., 1,432' e/o Commack Road, Deer Park, Town of Babylon, County of Suffolk, SCTM No. 0100-68-01-46.3 and part of 46.6.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final Supplemental Generic EIS

Suffolk County - The Town Board of the Town of Islip, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Central Islip PDD: Master Plan Update, Zoning Amendments and Development Proposals. The action involves the Town of Islip preparing an update to The Master Plan for the Central Islip Planned Development District ("PDD") which was adopted by the Town of Islip in 1989. The 1989 Master Plan (the "Master Plan") provides a comprehensive plan for the redevelopment of the approximately 800-acre former Central Islip Psychiatric Center located in the Hamlet of Central Islip, within the Town of Islip, Suffolk County, New York. The Master Plan Update will reflect: redevelopment and new construction that has occurred within the PDD since the adoption of the Master Plan; previous Master Plan amendments; and, the Town’s current planning policies and goals for the PDD. The PDD is generally bounded by Clayton Street to the north, Lowell Avenue to the east, the Southern State Parkway to the south and Wilson Boulevard to the west in Central Islip, within the Town of Islip, in Suffolk County, New York.
