Project Description:
The applicant proposes construction of a new 150' by 80' fish pond, with gravel access path around the perimeter, adjacent to a freshwater wetland.  The proposed project is located on the south side of Town Line Rd, approximately 1 mile west of Bradford Rd and Military Turnpike intersection, on property owned by George Martin.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination:
Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency:
None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project is Located: Milton, Saratoga County
Project Description:

The applicant has enrolled in the Wetlands Reserve Program, through which the Saratoga County Natural Resource Conservation Services has developed a proposal to enhance an existing wetland area within the NYS DEC regulated FWW M-17 (Class 2). The wetland habitat modifications will be accomplished by construction of a low berm to flood an area enhanced by the construction of a shallow pond. Excavated spoil will be used to construct the low berm and the excess will be removed and spread in upland area. The created area of open water interspersed with wetland emergent vegetation will benefit waterfowl, fur-bearers and other wildlife. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Sub-Office in Warrensburg.
