The applicant proposes to
construct within 18" of the existing bulkhead 287 linear feet of
bulkhead, remove and replace in the same location 74 linear feet of bulkhead, raise the
elevation of all bulkheading 18", and fill in an existing boat ramp. Dredge no greater than
55 ft. seaward of the replacement bulkhead to a maximum depth of 6 ft. below mean low
water. Resultant 300 cubic yards of dredged material to be used as backfill and 1200
cubic yards to be trucked off-site. Remove all existing floats and piles and create a 13
slip floating dock system consisting of a 6 ft. x 6 ft. platform, two ramps, eleven 4 ft. x 40
ft. floats, three 4 ft. x 10 ft. floats, and eleven pilings. The property is located at 3660
Ocean Avenue, Seaford, Town of Hempstead, County of Suffolk, on Seamans Island
Creek.
