Location: Buttermilk Falls Road, Town of Fort Ann, Washington County, NY
Comment Period Ends: February 17, 2005
Project Description: The action involves filling of 120 square feet of wetland as a result of constructing an 18 foot wide driveway to access a proposed single family dwelling on a landlocked parcel. The linear wetland is associated with an unnamed, permanent stream flowing across the property. The driveway will be located within the bounds of a previously-approved 50 ft. wide right-of-way across lands of James and Debra Allen.
Saratoga County - The Saratoga County Department of Public Works, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hadley Bow Bridge will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Hadley Bow Bridge restoration project which involves restoration and repair of the existing historic bridge. The project objectives are to eliminate structural deficiencies and provide a structure capable of supporting unposted traffic loads, and to preserve the unique and historical bridge. Construction will involve installing an independent structural system to support the new bridge traffic loads and the bridge's own weight. Adjacent power lines will be relocated. Minor improvements in the roadway approaches will be made adjacent to the bridge.
