OCWA proposes to install
5,100 feet of new 10 inch water main along the north side of
Oak Orchard Road to tie together two dead end mains which will improve the water main
system to provide reliable water supply and fire protection to existing water districts in
southern Oswego County. The new main will be located within the buffer of state
wetland BRE-9. Impacts will be temporary during construction with no long term
impacts identified. The application is available for review in the Syracuse Office.

The Department has made
a tentative determination to modify this permit to add 4
stormwater outfalls discharging to Ninemile Creek. The discharges are existing and are
proposed to be incorporated into the permit to set effluent limits for various parameters.
Outfall 011 discharges stormwater via a 24 inch diversion pipeline between wastebeds 9-11. Outfalls
017, 018 and 019 discharge stormwater from wastebeds 12-15 collected in
lined swales above the leachate collection system. The draft permit is available for
review in the Syracuse Office.
