Tioga County - Tioga County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Tioga County Infrastructure Master Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Tioga County Infrastructure Master Plan which evaluates and identifies the most logical and feasible areas for water and sewer infrastructure investment including existing system upgrades, expansions and new systems. In general, it is recommended that these investments take place along major transportation routes within the county, particularly along state route corridors. Municipal officials were then interviewed and identified nearly 50 individual water and sewer projects within these priority areas, and the Study Steering Committee rated these projects through a rigorous, objective rating exercise. The result was a final listing of prioritized individual projects, and sub-listing of maintenance projects. All these projects satisfied either a public health concern or an economic development opportunity. The project is located county wide.
