Applicant proposes to remove and replace existing bulkhead and boardwalks, and to dredge area immediately seaward of bulkhead to -4' MLW. Project includes the closing off and  filling of existing boat ramp. Project is located on South Bay Avenue, Massapequa.

The applicant proposes to install one (1)new 20" X 10" diameter well approximately 670 feet deep and rated at 1,300 GPM.  The proposed well is located at the Ruth Boulevard Well Field, Commack.  Water will be pumped from the Magothy Aquifer.

The applicant proposes to subdivide approximately 470 acres of land into 34 lots and blocks at

the Enterprise Park at Calverton (EPCAL), formerly the Naval Weapons Industrial Reserve Plant

which was operated by Grumman Corporation and previously owned by the US Navy.

Conservation lots, conservation areas  and buffers have been incorporated into the subdivision to

preserve environmentally-sensitive habitats.

The project is located on the north side of Grumman Boulevard, east of Wading River-Manorville Road and south of State Route 25 in Calverton, Town of Riverhead, Suffolk County.

The applicant proposes to remove the existing one story single family dwelling and construct a two story single family dwelling, deck, and a driveway 0 ft. from the tidal wetland boundary and a sanitary system with a retaining wall within 4 ft. of the tidal wetland boundary.  The applicant has requested a variance from the required 75 ft. setback for structures and 100 ft. setback for a sanitary system.  In addition, the proposed lot coverage by impervious structures has been reduced from 26.7% to 24.4% but still exceeds the maximum allowable of 20%.  The property is located at 44 Cold Spring Point Road, Town of Southampton, County of Suffolk, on Cold Spring Bay.
