The applicant proposes to
construct a breasting/mooring structure in the Niagara River
adjacent to the existing Marathon facility that will be used for barges that deliver product
to the facility, located at 3900 River Road. The structure will be approximately 75 feet
from shore, approximately 30 feet wide, and consist of sheet piling driven and anchored
to bedrock, filled with crushed stone and capped with concrete.
