Jefferson County - The Planning Board of the Town of LeRay, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a 203,091 s.f. Wal-Mart Supercenter, a 6 dispenser (12 Fueling position) gas station, and the preparation of one 1.5 acre outlot on a 27 acre parcel located in the Town of LeRay. The proposed action includes the development of the associated utilities, drives, parking, as well as improvements to U.S. Route 11. The project is located west of U.S. Route 11 in the Town of LeRay.

Jefferson County - The Town of Watertown Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Towne Center at Watertown. The action involves a Site Plan review, possible subdivision approval, possible Zoning Board of Appeals approval to permit the development of approximately 426,400 square feet of retail/restaurant space on 60 acres of a 138 acre parcel. The parcel is located on tax parcels 82.00-2-3 and 82.00-2-3-701on the south side of NYS Route 3, Arsenal Street, westerly of Lowe's Home Centers, Inc., Town of Watertown, Jefferson County.
