Consolidated SPDES Renewals
Livingston County - The Town Board, Town of Springwater, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Springwater Sanitary Sewer System (Springwater Wastewater Collection and Treatment Facility) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves:
1. Construction of approximately 5.8 miles of pressure sewers in the Hamlet of Springwater, connecting to a septic tank and pump at each of 229 homes and businesses including 38 mobile homes.
2. Construction of facilities for wastewater treatment located south of Kellogg Road, discharging to the confluence of Springwater and Lime Kiln Creeks, north of Kellogg Road. The wastewater treatment facility includes four encapsulated wetland cells on approximately 2 acres.
3. Creation of a Sewer District for the service area. (Already accomplished)
4. Funding of the system. (Partially completed. Grant funds awarded.)
The project is located in the Hamlet of Springwater, Town of Springwater, Livingston County (Project includes whole hamlet).

Monroe County - The Town Board of the Town of Brighton, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Mansions at Brighton. The action involves multi-family housing development to be located on a 33.7 +/- acre parcel of land commonly known as “The Maxion Estate Property”. The project is located on the south side of Elmwood Avenue across from Elmwood Manor Apartments and east of the Town of Brighton/City of Rochester municipal border in the Town of Brighton, Monroe County.
