Pursuant to the Environmental Conservation Law, Sections 13-0340-b, 13-0340-e and 13-0340-f, the Department of Environmental Conservation hereby gives notice of the following:

Public Hearing

Suffolk County - A public hearing will be held by the Town Board of the Town of Southampton on October 26, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road, Southampton, NY, to hear any and all persons either for or against "A Local Law" amending Chapter 330 (Zoning) of the Town Code of the Town of Southampton in order to create a Residential Planned Development District (RPD). This proposed Change of Zone would rezone approximately 8.24 acres from Highway Business to Residential Planned Development District (RPD) to construct a 65-unit senior citizen complex, with a percentage set aside for moderate-income seniors as defined by the Town of Southampton, to include a clubhouse/recreation building, an outdoor swimming pool, and associated site improvements. the proposed site is located on the north side of Montauk Highway, 150 east of Allomara Road in Hampton Bays.

Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town of Huntington Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Air Techniques, Inc. (Site Plan) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a one and one-half (1½) story 194,944 gross square foot industrial building on an approximate 12.85-acre (559,873 square foot) parcel within an I-1 Light Industry zoning district, with the Town Code required complement of off-street parking, loading, drainage control devices and landscaping. The project is lots 3 and 4 of the Map of Whitman Corporate Park and is located on the west side of Walt Whitman Road, approximately 1,297 feet north of Cottontail Road in Melville, within the Town of Huntington; indicated as parcel District 0400, Section 255, Block 01, Lots 002.003 & 002.004 on the Suffolk County Tax Map.
