Notice of tree cutting for the DEC project of replacing the existing underground water storage tank and partially buried pressure tank, constructed of metal, which are more than 40 years old and have reached the end of their life cycle due to excessive corrosion. Trees have grown over the underground water storage tank and pressure tank. There are 60 trees that have to be removed to facilitate the removal of the existing tanks for proper installation of the new tanks. The Department has to meet the NYS Department of Health requirement to provide proper chlorination for the campground water system. This project will enable DEC to meet the DOH standards. The Unit Management Plan for the Luzerne Campground was approved and adopted by Commissioner Marsh on May 24, 1994. As required by Commissioner's Delegation Memorandum # 84-06.

Project Description: The action involves a three-lot subdivision involving wetlands, of 208.36 acres to convey a 1-acre lot to the adjoining landowner and an 11.5 acre lot to another nearby landowner who will merge it with an existing lot. No new land use and development is proposed at this time.
Fulton County - The Village of Mayfield, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wastewater Collection System Phase 2 Construction will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of the Phase 2 wastewater collection system to serve the remaining unsewered portion of the Village to be in compliance with a NYSDEC Order on Consent. The project is located in the Village of Mayfield.

Saratoga County - The Saratoga Springs Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adirondack Trust Company Building will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves site plan and architectural approval for the construction of a new 28,500 square foot mixed use project with 5,500 square feet of retail first floor use and 23,000 square feet of commercial office space on floors 2-5. The project is located at 31 Church Street, Saratoga Springs, NY.
