The applicant proposes to continue its maintenance dredging program for a 5 year period by dredging various creeks, channels, and berthing areas within Hempstead Bay to a maximum depth of six feet below mean low water, and depositing dredged material in existing deep hole deposit sites within Reynold's Channel and Hewlett Bay. Applicant anticipates the dredging of 15,000 cubic yards of material each year. The disposal sites would be filled to a maximum depth of 20 feet below mean low water.

The applicant proposes to clear, fill, and grade a parcel within 80' of the freshwater wetland boundary, construct a single family dwelling within 122' of the freshwater wetland boundary, and install a septic system within 98' of the freshwater wetland boundary.  The parcel is located near NYSDEC regulated freshwater wetlands known as M20.  The project is located at:  Longfellow Drive, Mastic Beach, Brookhaven, Suffolk County.  SCTM # 200979.146.

The applicant proposes to subdivide a 15.41 acre parcel into five residential lots ranging in size from 2.0 to 3.26 acres each.  A cul-de-sac is proposed to be constructed off Moriches Road to provide access to the new lots.  Two dwellings exist on the property, and no changes to the dwellings are currently proposed.  The proposed project is located within the Wild, Scenic, and Recreational Rivers System corridor of the Nissequoge River in the Village of Nissequoge, Town of Smithtown in Suffolk County, SCTM# 802-009-03-33.002.
