The applicant proposes to
continue its maintenance dredging program for a 5 year period
by dredging various creeks, channels, and berthing areas within Hempstead Bay to a
maximum depth of six feet below mean low water, and depositing dredged material in
existing deep hole deposit sites within Reynold's Channel and Hewlett Bay. Applicant
anticipates the dredging of 15,000 cubic yards of material each year. The disposal sites
would be filled to a maximum depth of 20 feet below mean low water.
