an application to extend the water supply and distribution of
the Town of Seneca Water District 1 into its Extension 7 and to take a supply of water
estimated to average 4000 gallons per day from the Town of Geneva's Kashong Point
well. This project includes the installation of 7,500 linear feet of 8 inch watermain and
appurtenances to serve a proposed subdivision. The Department has made a tentative
decision to approve this application and is seeking public comment prior to making a
final decision on permit issuance.

The proposed back up well is approximately two miles north of the Village of Cohocton
and 1500 feet east of the Cohocton River. The file is available for review and comment

The applicant proposes to
remove an existing deteriorated concrete box culvert and
headwalls with a longer culvert pipe. The project will include minor stream bed
excavation to prepare an adequate foundation for the new pipe and headwall protection.
The length of the proposed culverts was determined using American Association of State
Highway Transportation Official (AASHTO) guideline. Disturbed areas will be
minimized and immediately seeded and mulched. The project is located on Savannah-Spring Lake Road in
the Town of Savannah on the Wayne County-Cayuga County
border.

development of a commercial retail center in the wetland and
adjacent area of Windward Lake (NYS FWW ON-47). Construction will include a 5,000
S.F. office building, a 4,000 S.F. restaurant and a +/-280 L.F. boardwalk/pier along the
Windward Lake shoreline. Approximately 2,000 C.Y. of bottom sediments will be
dredged to facilitate construction of the boardwalk/pier. The project site is approximately
200 feet NE of the Canandaigua Road / Fairway 7 intersection in the Gananda PUD.
