    The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to re-issue the following EPA minor Private/Commercial/Institutional State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES) permit.  DEC has made a tentative determination to re-issue this permit for a five year term maintaining current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements.  This permit involves the surface discharge of up to 500 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to the Ameria Brook.

       The Town of Fallsburg Consolidated Water District has applied for a Water Supply permit (WSA#10,620) to add Well #2 at a pumping rate of 200 gallons per minute (gpm) inorder to meet peak summer water demands and it's year-round needs.  The water would be treated and then pumped into the Loch Sheldrake portion of the Town's Consolidated Water District.  The new well is located on the east side of Wood Road (CR #51) just south of its intersection with NYS Route 55, in the Loch Sheldrake area of the Town of Fallsburg, Sullivan County, NY.

The applicant has applied for a Freshwater Wetlands permit to construct a single-family house and septic system within the 100-foot wide adjacent area of State regulated Freshwater Wetland #NB-20 (Class 2).  There will be no disturbance of the freshwater wetland itself.  The project will result in a disturbance of less than 0.18 acres of land on a 1.684 acre parcel which is located at 54 Church Street in the hamlet of Plattekill, Town of Plattekill, Ulster County, NY.

The applicant proposes to hydraulically dredge approximately 6900 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from the Hudson River at the existing Croton Yacht Club Marina on Croton Beach Road, Village of Croton-on-Hudson, Westchester County.  Prior to dredging a dewatering basin will be constructed on site.  Dredged material will be pumped to the on site basin for dewatering and, once dewatered, will remain on site.
