Negative Declaration

Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Chenango, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Giant Plaza Water Main Relocation will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a relocation of approximately 125 linear feet of 12 inch water main to avoid conflict with extension of box culvert by others. This proposed project will consist of .09 acres located at 1298 Upper Front Street in the Town of Chenango.

Broome County - The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Chenango, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 54 and 28 Park Avenue, Binghamton, NY will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves logging in a residential area within the Town of Chenango. HTE removal of mature timber trees and a pre-commerical thinning of the residual stand. Thinning out defective and poor quality stems and leaving superior quality stems, which will produce better quality timber for another harvest in the future. Brush will be cut and removed along White Street Extension, the road will be graded to try to alliviate some drainage problems.
