Negative Declaration

Cattaraugus County - The Common Council of the City of Salamanca, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of local laws amending the City of Salamanca Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of a local law amending the City of Salamanca Zoning Law. The project is located citywide.

Niagara County - The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed H2Gro LLC Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the acquisition of an interest in an approximately 8 acre parcel of land located at 1430 Pletcher Road in the Town of Lewiston. The construction on the land of three buildings consisting of a pack house, tank house and greenhouse and containing in the aggregate approximately 334,905 square feet of space and the acquisition and installation therein and thereon of certain machinery and equipment; all of the foregoing to constitute a manufacturing/processing facility for the production of vine-ripened tomatoes. The project is located at 1430 Pletcher Road in the Town of Lewiston.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft EIS

Niagara County - The Niagara Wheatfield Central School District Board of Education, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Niagara Wheatfield High School/Middle School Additions and Alterations. Comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact person until September 8, 2004. The project involves the purchase of property east of the High/Middle School property totaling 48.1 acres. The additions and alterations will include a 12,890 s.f. addition to Edward Town Middle School, five small additions to Niagara Wheatfield High School of 2,028 s.f., 1,664 s.f., 7,490 s.f., 2,640 s.f. and 5,535 s.f. for a total of 19, 357 s.f. Additions to West Street elementary School totaling 8,133 s.f. Development will also include parking lot reconfigurations with new bus travel lanes, new baseball and softball fields, four new soccer fields, and a new access road to the soccer fields.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Draft SupplementaL EIS

Erie County - The Town of Lancaster, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Pleasant Meadows residential subdivision and commercial/retail development. Comments on the Draft Supplemental EIS will be accepted by the contact person until September 10, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. The action involves development of approximately 271 acres including a residential subdivision consisting of 174 homes, 120 patio homes, 512 apartment or condo units, 10 office/retail buildings and a 50 acre park/nature preserve. The action will involve the rezoning of a portion of the premises to accommodate the apartment/condo units. The project is located on the south side of Pleasant view Drive, east of Central Avenue, and immediately east of Lancaster School District property on Pleasant View Drive running south to the north side of Walden Avenue consisting of 271 acres in the Town of Lancaster, NY.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final EIS

Erie County - The Porter Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Town of Porter Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Porter includes goals, policies and actions that will guide the development of the Town over the next 20 years.
