Project Description: The action involves expansion of the pre-existing office building by 8,000 square feet in order to correct New York State Building Code deficiencies, correct health and safety issues in the current building, improve handicap accessibility, and provide expanded public meeting and office space. The expansion will include construction of a handicap accessible conference room on the ground floor, a new building entrance and lobby area, an elevator to provide improved access to the entire building and other improvements for handicap access. The project will also include removal of several hundred feet of paved driveway and realignment of traffic flow to the parking areas and the building entrance. New low-watt site lighting and landscaping will also be installed. The expansion will more readily accommodate existing staff and the public; increased occupancy is not proposed. Municipal water supply and sewerage will continue.

Project Description: The project consists of the installation of wooden bridging along the alignment of the existing hardened trail in order to cross flooded section of trail. Two hundred and sixty feet of bridging will be on a section of trail adjacent to Mill Brook which has an active beaver population. The bridging will consist of rough-cut wooden planks attached to log stringers. The bridging will be 18 to 24 inches wide, and elevated approximately 1 to 2 feet above the ground surface. No soil excavation is necessary; the structure will sit upon the existing firm trail surface. A limited amount of trimming of vegetation including shrubs will allow horses to pass the bridging on this designated horse trail. The project is specifically described in the 1992 Unit Management Plan for the Pharaoh Lakes Wilderness Area.

Project Description: The applicants seek approval for a six-lot subdivision involving wetlands and within 1/4 mile of the North and Middle Branch of the Grasse River, a statutorily designated scenic river pursuant to the New York State Wild, Scenic, and Recreational Rivers System Act. The proposed subdivision involves approximately 18,896± acres subject to a January 29, 1999 New York State Conservation Easement, and the ultimate retention of six existing hunting and fishing cabin sites, with one site on each of the proposed six lots. The Easement provides that the remaining thirty seven hunting and fishing cabins located on the project site shall be removed no later than fifteen years after the recording of the easement (approximately January 2014). The Easement also extinguishes all “principal building rights” associated with the project site. The acreages of the proposed six lots are as follows: Lot 1 –2741± acres, Lot 2 – 3242± acres, Lot 3 – 3581± acres, Lot 4 – 2974± acres, Lot 5 – 3328± acres, and Lot 6 – 3078± acres.
