Project Description:
The applicant proposes to construct two mortar and field stone walls with 3 foot long x 20 inches wide steel reinforced concrete footings above the Mean High Water Level on Canandaigua Lake.  The wall on the north side of the property will be 145 feet long which includes two return walls.  A second wall of similar construction will be installed at the south end of the property which will be approximately 100 feet in length.  The project site is on the western shore of Canandaigua Lake in the Town of South Bristol, Ontario County.  The application and file are available for review at the Region 8 Office.

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.

A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

The applicant proposes to reconstruct and realign approximately 6,250 lineal feet of Shilling Rd. located in the Town of Palmyra, Wayne County.  The project involves the replacement of an existing 42' x 48" CMP culvert within the Class III Freshwater Wetland, PA-15 and the realignment of the Goldsmith and Shilling Rd. intersection, located partially within the 100 ft. adjacent area of the Class III Freshwater Wetland, PA-16.
