The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to re-issue the following EPA minor Private/Commercial/Institutional State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES) permit.  DEC has made a tentative determination to re-issue this permit for a five year term maintaining current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements.  This permit involves the surface discharge of up to 4,390 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to Ellis Pond.

The applicant proposes a surface discharge of 15,000 gallons per day (gpd) of treated sanitary wastewater from a new, 84 unit, senior citizen facility known as Stoneledge Senior Housing, located on the north side of Farm Lane approximately 1,000 feet north of the intersection with NYS Route 9.  This treated wastewater will be discharged to an unnamed tributary of Maritje Kill, Index # H-120-1, Class C.    

The Department has made a tentative determination to issue a State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit under Article 17 of the Environmental Conservation Law.  This tentative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statute is considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information available to the Department at this time.  The application and draft permit, containing N.Y.S. DEC proposed effluent limits and monitoring requirements, are available for public inspection at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Region 3, New Paltz office.  As a tentative determination, the Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance.  As such, this tentative determination does not signify department approval for or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall proposed project.

    The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to re-issue the following EPA minor Private/Commercial/Institutional State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES) permit.  DEC has made a tentative determination to re-issue this permit for a five year term maintaining current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements.  This permit involves surface and groundwater discharges of up to 2,800 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to a tributary of the Rhinebeck Kill.

    The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to re-issue the following EPA minor Private/Commercial/Institutional State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES) permit.  DEC has made a tentative determination to re-issue this permit for a five year term maintaining current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements.  This permit involves the surface discharge of up to 9,200 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to the Minisceongo Creek.

The applicant proposes to remove approximately 600 cubic yards of gravel & debris from approximately 100 feet of streambed along Pascack Brook (Class: "C (T)") indicated to be blocking the Grotke Road culvert crossing. The location is upstream of Grotke Road in the Village of Chestnut Ridge.

The Department has made a tentative determination to modify State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit number NY-0036897 for discharge of treated sanitary wastewater to an unnamed tributary of Sandburg Creek from 20,000 to 32,500 gallons per day (gpd).  The permit modification will bring this existing facility into regulatory compliance.  This tenatative determination indicates that the discharge regulated under this statute is considered to satisfy regulatory standards for permit issuance, based on information available to the Department at this time.

The Department seeks comments on the proposed regulated activity prior to making a final decision on permit issuance.  As such, this tentative determination does not signify department approval for or endorsement of the activity for which a permit is sought or for the overall proposed project.  A draft permit indicating the Department's proposed effluent limitations and monitoring requirements has been prepared and is available for review.

The Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has received an application to re-issue the following EPA minor Private/Commercial/Institutional State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (P/C/I SPDES) permit.  DEC has made a tentative determination to re-issue this permit for a five year term maintaining current effluent limitations and monitoring and reporting requirements.  This permit involves the surface discharge of up to 6,095 gallons per day of treated sanitary waste to the Beaver Lake.

Applicant proposes to dredge approximately 1000 cubic yards of sediment from a pond within the Mill River which is also within regulated freshwater wetland D-10.  Dredged material will be dewatered and disposed of on site.  Project is located in the Town of Pound Ridge at 15 Fox Run Road, Westchester County.
