remove and replace landward of the existing non-functional
bulkhead 198.5 linear feet of bulkhead, remove and replace in the same location 99 linear
feet of bulkhead, and dredge 10 ft. seaward of the replacement bulkhead to a maximum
depth of 4 ft. below mean low water. Resultant 107 cubic yards of dredged material to be
used as backfill. The property is located at South Court, Bay Shore, Town of Islip,

The applicant proposes the
construction of 130 linear feet of new bulkhead, with a 4 foot
wide walkway on the landward side. Installation of the bulkhead will result in the fill of
310 square feet of shoals and mud flats. The project also includes installation of a 32"
x20' ramp, a 6' x 20' float, a rock retaining wall located upland from the bulkhead and a
10 foot wide boat launch ramp. Dredging to 4-6 feet deep at mean low water is
proposed in the area of the new float. The resultant 168 cubic yards of spoil will be used
as back fill.
