Onondaga County - The Planning Board of the Town of Salina, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on July 29, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Salina Town Hall, 201 School Road, Liverpool, NY. Written comments will be accepted for a period of 10 days following the close of the public hearing. The action involves the application of Wal–Mart for a four lot subdivision commercial subdivision and Site Plan Approval for the construction of an approximately 205,000 square foot Wal–Mart Supercenter. The proposed Wal–Mart Supercenter will consist of a single story building containing approximately 205,000 square feet of floor space with paved parking, access driveways, utilities and storm water facilities to support the proposed site. The project is located at 7186 Oswego Road, Liverpool, Town of Salina.
