Erie County – The Town Of Amherst Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezoning of 1772 Sweet Home Road from Shopping Center (SC) to Multi–Family Residential District – Six (MFR–6), will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The property is located on the west side of Sweet Home Road, approximately 600 feet south of Skinnersville Road, and opposite Sweet Home High School. The property is currently vacant with some wooded areas on the north side. The petitioner proposes to develop “University Village at Sweet Home“ which includes 272 units of student housing in ten (10) buildings (five 3–story buildings and five 4–story buildings), an 839 space parking lot and a 10,000 sq. ft. community center.
