The applicant, in cooperation
with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, proposes to
develop four wetland pothole systems(@ 5,000 square feet surface area each x 3.5' deep)
and one connector level ditch(2200 square feet surface area). One pothole would be
located within regulated freshwater wetland NE-22, a 13 acre Class 2 wetland and one
pothole would be located inNE-23, a 25 acre Class 3 wetland. In addition, two access
areas, one 100' long x 8' wide and one 50' long x 8' wide would be corduroyed. The site
is located approximately 1,000' west of the Sears Pond Road, 2,000' north of Rector, 8.6
miles southeast of Barnes Corners.

This Department has received
a request to issue a permit and has drafted an Article 19
(Air Pollution Control)
of the Environmental Conservation Law, an Air State Facility
Permit, at the facility located at Austin Mohawk & Company, 2175 Beechgrove Place,
Utica, NY 13501.
The Department has made
a tentative determination to approve the application of the
Austin Mohawk & Company, a metal gas station canopy and building manufacturer. The
State Facility Permit allows the operation of Emission unit 1-00000, which includes a
spray paint booth and an adhesive apllication booth. The facility has capped out of Title
V Permitting requirements by tracking and restricting it's emissions of Hazardous Air
Pollutants below individual emissions of 10 tons per year and cumulative emissions of 25
tons. The facility has alos capped out of 6 NYCRR Part 228 table 1 for surfacre coating
operations by tracking and restricting emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds below
10 tons per year. The draft permit with conditions is available for review in the Region 6
NYS DEC offices in Utica and Watertown, New York.

to approve modification of an existing State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
(SPDES) permit for Barrett Paving Materials, Inc., facility on NYS Route 12, in the
Towns of Boonville and Lyden on the Oneida -Lewis County border, New York. The
Modifications include:
Add
Best Management Practices Special Conditions for Small Facilities to address
storm water runoff from areas outside the active quarry.
Add
new outfall (003) for quarry de-watering from the north quarry pit.
Add
new outfall (004) for an existing sanitary waste discharge.
Add
new outfall (005) for a discharge from an area outside the active quarry pits that
receives storm water runoff and inflow from the Sugar River.
