Applicant proposes to subdivide 52,792 sf lot into a 39,079 sf lot with existing residence and a 13,713 sf lot with future proposed single family dwelling. Associated adjacent parcel is also proposed to be subdivided into two lots not to be built upon. Parcels are located on Asharoken Avenue, Asharoken.

The applicant proposes to construct an addition to a single family dwelling 31 feet from the tidal wetland boundary, install a new septic system and add fill 76 feet from the tidal wetland boundary, remove an existing gravel driveway, and construct a new gravel driveway.  A variance from the required 75 foot wetland setback has been requested for the proposed addition and a variance from the required 100 foot setback from the wetland has been requested for the septic system. The parcel is located adjacent to tidal wetands associated with the Connetquot River, which is considered NYSDEC regulated tidal wetlands.  The project is located at:  119 Hollywood Drive, Oakdale, Town of Islip, Suffolk County.  SCTM # 500376319.  

The applicant proposes to remove and replace in the same location 188 linear feet of bulkhead, construct a 25 ft. break wall, and a 55 ft. x 16 ft. boat slip.  The slip will be dredged to 4 ft. below mean low water.  Resultant 230 cubic yards of dredged material will be trucked off site to an approved location.  The property is located at 101 Davison Lane West, West Islip, Town of Islip, County of Suffolk on Davison Lagoon and Great South Bay.
