The applicant proposes to mine
14.9 acres during the coming permit term, within a 30
acre life-of-mine facility, on a 310.3 acre parcel of land, including specified processing
equipment, on lands owned by Harvey Decker and LER Conklin Company, LLC. The
proposed site is believed to have been previously operated in the 1970's and then
abandoned. Approximately 9.8 acres has been affected by previous quarrying. The
applicant proposes to reopen the mine as indicated.
