The applicant proposes to
construct a State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
(SPDES) outfall for non-contact cooling water in the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland
VE-14, a class One, 2,307 acre wetland. The construction consist of trenching and pipe
laying through a paved area and graveled bank adjacent to the wetland. The cooling water
will flow a short distance through a defined channel to Wood Creek.
