Herkimer County - The Village of Mohawk, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Water System Improvements Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves improvements to the Village water supply, including replacement of sections of the distribution system and transmission mains throughout the Village, installation of a new 500,000 gallon water storage tank and transmission main, a new UV disinfection system, and a new water main to serve a small portion of Hammond Street in the Town of German Flatts. The water main replacement and well improvements are located within the Village of Mohawk. A new water main will be constructed to serve a portion of Hammond Street in the Town of German Flatts. The new water storage tank and transmission are located on Putts Hill Road in the Town of German Flatts.

St Lawrence - The Planning Board of the Town of Massena, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter and Gasoline Filling Station will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. Written comments on the draft scoping outline will be accepted at the Town Clerk's Office through the end of the day on June 9, 2004. The action involves rezoning, subdivision, and site plan approval with possible variances for the construction of a 203,091 s.f. Wal-Mart Supercenter and gasoline filling station. The project is located on the south side of Highland Road just before its intersection with Leslie Road in the Town of Massena, NY.
