The applicant proposes to complete the construction of a new 28' x 56' inground swimming pool which is located in the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland  CO-7 (Lower Rhoda Pond).  Construction of the pool had previously begun without a valid permit in violation of the wetland regulations.  Camp Pontiac is a children's summer camp located on the north shore of Lower Rhoda Pond, in the Town of Copake, Columbia County.    

The Town of Franklin proposes to renew and modify a previously issued Mined Land Reclamation permit for the Town of Franklin Gravel Pit. The Town proposes to add a 4.7 acre parcel to the life of mine while removing 7.0 acres which were previously authorized to be mined.

The Applicant proposes to re align and restore a approximately 1200 linear foot degraded section of Town Brook, immediately downstream of Davis Road. The work includes channel and food plain excavation and fill, and the construction of 13 rock crossvanes, 11 rock vanes and one log vane to maintain stream grade and reduce streambank erosion. Portions of the flood plain will be graded to restore  function. Fencing, dedicated livestock crossings, and and riparian vegetative plantings will be used to enhance and protect  the riparian habitat

The applicant proposes to construct a 20 by 25 foot  pole barn in the adjacent area of FWW A-5, in the Town of Windham. Project will not require additional clearing of the adjacent area.

The applicant proposes a streambank stabilization project to control erosion to agricultural fields.  The project is to reshape a section of badly eroded streambank of the Schoharie Creek along approximately 550 feet and to plant vegetation and trees to stabilize the soil. The project is located off County Route 27 approximately 2/10ths of a mile upstream of the CR 27 Bridge.

The applicant proposes to reconstruct 0.4 miles of State Route 145 on a new alignment, rehabilitation of 0.7 miles of SR 145, and to reconstruct the SR 20/145 intersection.  The new alignment of SR 145 will cross through a federal wetland and will permanently impact 0.136 acres.  A wetland creation area will create a 0.25 acre wetland.  The New York State Department of Transportation has determined that this project is a Type II action. The project limits are  State Route 145 just north of the County Route 30 intersection into the Village of Sharon, east and west on State Route 20 and north on CR 5A.
