re align and restore a approximately 1200 linear foot degraded
section of Town Brook, immediately downstream of Davis Road. The work includes
channel and food plain excavation and fill, and the construction of 13 rock crossvanes, 11
rock vanes and one log vane to maintain stream grade and reduce streambank erosion.
Portions of the flood plain will be graded to restore function. Fencing, dedicated
livestock crossings, and and riparian vegetative plantings will be used to enhance and
protect the riparian habitat

reconstruct 0.4 miles of State Route 145 on a new alignment,
rehabilitation of 0.7 miles of SR 145, and to reconstruct the SR 20/145 intersection. The
new alignment of SR 145 will cross through a federal wetland and will permanently impact
0.136 acres. A wetland creation area will create a 0.25 acre wetland. The New York
State Department of Transportation has determined that this project is a Type II action.
The project limits are State Route 145 just north of the County Route 30 intersection into
the Village of Sharon, east and west on State Route 20 and north on CR 5A.
