The applicant proposes to
renew their current permit to mine, with a modification to add
1.2 acres to the Life of Mine, for a total of 10.2 acres. The modification is to permit
mining up to the neighboring mine boundary, Cemento, LLC's Sandy Hill Sand & Gravel
Mine, and to eventually combine the reclamation for both mines. Previously, Town law
prohibited this action; but a revision now allows it.
