The Department has made
a tentative determination to approve this application for a new
permit for a proposed discharge of approximately180,000 gallons per day of treated
groundwater into the Hudson River (Class I) from a settling treatment plant at the
applicant’s construction site located on Parcel 19B of Battery Park City in New York
where the applicant is constructing a new 24 story building. A draft permit is available
for inspection and comment at the regional office.
