Negative Declaration

Cattaraugus County - The Cattaraugus County Legislature, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Redefining the Cattaraugus Empire Zone Boundaries will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Cattaraugus Empire Zone Corporation (CEZC) proposing to redefine its zone boundaries and increase the total of number of sub-zones from 27 to 32 and the net acreage from 1,210.0779 acres to 1,240.0173 acres. The action will take place in 19 Cattaraugus County Municipalities / Sub-zones of the Cattaraugus Empire Zone where boundary changes are proposed as outlined in Attachment I: Description of Action and Attachment II: Cattaraugus Empire Zone Map: Sub-Zones by Municipality.

Erie County - Erie County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Erie County Southtowns Wastewater Treatment Plant Disinfection System Modifications will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of the existing chlorine gas disinfection system with a new sodium hypochlorite disinfection system;complete with tanks, feed pumps,controls,and a chemical transfer station; modify the existing chlorine storage to be used as office space; erect a vehicle storage building; and install monitoring equipment and alarms throughout the plant to tie into a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system. The project is located at S-3690 Lake Shore Road, Hamburg, NY.

The action involves the construction of a four-story 55 unit townhouse-style apartment complex and related site improvements by D’Youville College to be used for student housing. Erie County - The Erie County Water Authority, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Contract EA-6: Water System Improvements in the Town of Amherst will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of approx. 11,000 LF of 36 inch diameter water transmission main in the Town of Amherst. The project will connect to an existing stub at Sweet Home Rd. and Rensch Rd., then continue northerly along the east side of Sweet Home Rd. to Herron Dr. Project will then continue northeasterly along Herron Dr., cross the North Diversion Channel/Ellicott Creek, and then continue along N.Forest Rd. to Dodge Road. Project will terminate on the south side of Dodge Rd. with a connection to an existing 24 inch watermain approx. 200 LF east of N. Forest Rd.
