Project Description: The action involves replacement of culvert at Stowersville Road (County Route 12) crossing over Spruce Mill Brook involving wetlands. Approximately 100 square feet of wetlands will be impacted as part of the project. The existing roadway alignment will be maintained without change. An off-site detour will be utilized during the approximately two month construction period. Construction will be complete in about November 2004.

Project Title: Richard and Marie LaPorte

Location: south of New York State Route 28 in the Town of Inlet

Project Description: The applicants propose a three-lot subdivision of a 60 acre portion of the project site to convey a 3.2 acre lot improved by an existing single family dwelling, convey a 10-acre lot to be improved by a single family dwelling and to retain a 46.8 acre lot containing a barn, corral and accessory buildings associated with a horseback riding business operated by the applicants and wooded areas designated and used as part of a paintball games business also operated by the applicants. The applicants also seek after-the-fact approval for both the horseback riding and paintball businesses which are commercial uses. The horseback riding business operates in part on existing woods roads on adjoining lands owned by Inlet Golf Club, Inc. and Craig and Mary Smith. Hours/days of operation of both the horseback riding and paintball businesses are to continue to be seven days a week between Memorial Day and Columbus Day from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Clinton County The New York State Energy Research And Development Authority (NYSERDA), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Tyree Installation of a Wind Turbine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the installation of a wind turbine on a 120 foot tower for residential use. The project is located at 180 Bull Run Road, Ellenburg Depot, New York 12935; Town of Ellenburg.

Saratoga County - The Zoning Board of Appeals of Saratoga Springs, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Use Variance for 156-158 Carolina Street (UR-3) - Dan Reilly will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a use variance to permit continued use of 2 apts. over a garage. Apartments have existed, as such, for approximately 50 years. No increase in density is proposed. No changes to structure are proposed. The project is located at 156-158 Caroline Street, Saratoga Springs, NY.

Notice Of Acceptance Of Final Supplemental EIS

Fulton County - The Adirondack Park Agency, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Amendment of the Official Adirondack Park Land Use and Development Plan Map in the Town of Northampton. The action involves reclassification from Rural Use to Moderate Intensity Use of an approximately 230 acre parcel located westerly of NYS Route 30, pursuant to the Adirondack Park Agency Act, Section 805 (2)(c)(1).
