The Steuben County Soil
and Water Conservation District is working with the applicant
and has developed site specific plans to stabilize approximately 200 feet of the southern
bank of Mill Creek. The project includes the removal of two gravel bars, about 343 cubic
yards of material, through shoal shaping. A new low flow channel will also be
developed. Approximately 174 cubic yards of material will be used to fill the eroded
bank on the south side of the stream which will be seeded and planted with Streamco
willows.

The Town of Sodus proposes
to create the Sodus Water District #6 and to take for use
therein a supply of water estimated to average 12,600 gallons per day from the Town of
Williamson and the Village of Sodus's Lake Ontario source. The project includes the
installation of 27,350 linear feet of 8" water main and appurtenances to serve 72
properties along VanLare, Cheetham, and Joy Roads, and Steel Drive and South Street.
