Article 23 Title 27 Mined Land Reclamation |
| Project is Located: | Skaneateles, Onondaga County |
| Project Description: | |
|
The applicant proposes to
renew their current permit to mine, with a modification to add
2.57 acres to the Life of Mine, for a total of 20.77 acres. The modification is to permit
mining up to the neighboring mine boundary, the David Smith - Hoyt Road Mine, and to
eventually combine the reclamation for both mines. Previously, Town law prohibited this
action; but a revision now allows it. The current setbacks of 100' will remain in place at
the corners for this mine and the Foster and Maclachan properties.
