Greene County - The Planning Board of the Town of New Baltimore, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Site Plan Review for the Boat 'N RV Warehouse will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves expansion of existing facilities to provide for additional inventory; parking for vehicles to be serviced; a small campground with amenities; and extension of public sewer to the site. Otsego County - The Board of Education of the Laurens Central School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Laurens Central School District Capital Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves redeveloping the existing school facilities and providing additional parking, building expansion and a proposed bus loop in front of the school, off of Main Street. Creation of a bus storage and washing garage at the corner of County Highway 11 and Poolcreek road. The project also includes the acquisition and development of property for a new athletic complex and the demolition of existing structures. additional work includes infrastructure (roof/utility), building construction and related sitework (parking, sidewalks, stormwater management, athletic site features and landscaping). Columbia County - The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Town of Chatham, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed PS/21 Performing Arts Facility. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on May 27, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Chatham Town Hall, 488 State Route 295, Chatham, NY. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until June 7, 2004. The action involves application for a Special Use Permit and a Height Variance for the proposed construction of a performing arts facility occupying 4.71 acres on a 107.2 acre site to consist of a 28,420 s.f. building seating 405 persons, a 80x60 ft. tent seating 300 persons for seasonal outdoor performances, 215 parking spaces, a driveway and an entranceway, to be constructed in two phases. The project is located at 2974 Route 66 in the Town of Chatham, near the Village of Chatham, adjacent to Crellin Park, tax parcels 56-1-22.11 and 56-1-21.
