Dutchess County - The Town Board of the Town of Pine Plains, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Town of Pine Plains Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of the Town of Pine Plains Comprehensive Plan which includes statements of goals and objectives for the orderly growth of the Town. Included in the Plan are demographic statistics, past and present land uses, public opinion surveys, and recommendations for the Town to use and/or adopt in order to reach the aforementioned goals and objectives.

Westchester County - The Planning Board for the City of Mount Vernon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Waldorf Carting Corporation Project may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction and operation of a construction and demolition recycling and transfer facility involving the alteration of three existing buildings on a 1.67 acre site in the City of Mount Vernon.

Ulster County - The Town Board of the Town of Ulster, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Extension of Frank Sottile Boulevard. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on June 16, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Ulster Town Hall, Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, NY. Comments will be accepted until July 2, 2004. The action involves an extension of a Town Road to complete the plans prepared for the Town's road improvement district (Development Facilitation Improvement District #1). The majority of the roads were constructed in 1992 and 1993. This proposal will complete the road system by extending Frank Sottile Boulevard over route 199 to a connection with route 9W opposite Grant Avenue.

Westchester County - The Town Board of the Town of Cortlandt, as lead agency, has accepted a Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption of the 2003 Comprehensive Master Plan. A public hearing on the Generic EIS will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. prevailing time, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Vincent F. Nyberg General Meeting Room located in the Town Hall at One Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Written comments can be submitted up to May 21, 2004 with respect to the GEIS. The action involves the 2003 Comprehensive Plan which provides a town-wide set of long range policy recommendation to be followed by the community to plan, guide and shape future growth and land use. Sullivan County - The Town of Bethel Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Metals Distribution and Sales Business. The action involves a parcel of 6.39 acres of land, approximately 3 acres of land which will be cleared for the purpose of building a 60 X 200 foot warehouse and a loading/unloading/parking lot area (approx 37,000 sq ft of pavement). This warehouse will be used for a metals distribution/ storage company. The SWPPP Permit has been submitted and plans will be available on the site during construction. The project is located at SR 55 near Airport Road, Kauneonga Lake.
