Negative Declaration

Nassau County - The Town of North Hempstead Town Board on behalf of the Hempstead Harbor Protection Committee has determined that the proposed Harbor Management Plan for Hempstead Harbor will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the preparation and adoption of the Harbor Management Plan for Hempstead Harbor encompassing 19.5 miles of shoreline, 4.8 square miles of land and 7.4 miles of water. The Plan addresses issues affecting the harbor through a comprehensive planning process, which defines goals and solutions. Issues were addressed on a harbor-wide, inter-municipal basis. The Harbor Management Plan also included a Quality Communities Component.

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Brookhaven, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Antonia Sciretta Land Division will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves land division of 35.983 acre lot into two lots of 9.00 acres and 26.983 acres. Property is zoned A-2 Residential. The project is located on South Country Road, Beaver Dam Road, Belleview Avenue, Brookhaven Hamlet, NY.

Positive Declaration And Public Scoping

Nassau County - The Village of Oyster Bay Cove Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Badgewood Farms - preliminary subdivision may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on May 5, 2004, at 8:00 pm at the East Woods School, Yellow Cote Road, Oyster Bay Cove, New York. The action involves the subdivision of 13.44 acres into 6 single family residential lots, each of which will have minimum lot area of two acres. The project is located on the east side of Oyster Bay Cove Road, south of Morris Lane and north of Drumlin Lane.
