Project is Located: Newstead, Erie County
Project Description:

The applicant proposes to modify its mining plan with a revised pipeline location, movement of the northern excavation limit along the Thruway to the south, modification of the berm placement and size and excavation of the narrow strip of retained land separating the two quarry areas. It is anticipated that Sun Pipeline will move the company's line to the same area on the applicant's property, along the New York State Thruway, where the Buckeye and Texas Brine pipelines were previously relocated.
