The Applicant proposes to discharge sump water from the East Delaware Intake Chamber into the Pepacton Reservoir. The sump water consists of contributions from reservoir sample water, floor drains, groundwater seepage and Stilling chamber water. No process water is involved with this discharge. A Maximum Daily Flow of 100 GPD is proposed.. Due to the historical nature of the discharge, only parameters of concern of an industrial nature have been included in the draft permit.

The Applicant proposes to discharge sump water from the West Delaware Intake Structure into the Cannonsville Reservoir. The sump water consists of contributions from reservoir sample water, floor drains, groundwater seepage and Stilling chamber water. No process water is involved with this discharge. A Daily average flow of 500 GPD and a Maximum Daily Flow of 8010 GPD is propsed.. Due to the historical nature of the discharge, only parameters of concern of an industrial nature have been included in the draft permit.

The applicant has applied for a reissuance of a freshwater wetland permit to apply SONAR to Springbrook Cove on Burden Lake to control eursian watermilfoil, and follow-up treatment if necessary with copper sulfate to control algae.  The project is located on 3rd Burden Lake, Town of Nassau, Rensselaer County.

The applicant proposes a 22 lot subdivision to be located in the Town's of Niskayuna and Colonie. As a result of the proposed development 0.478 acres of federally protected wetland will be permanently impacted. As mitigation the developer has agreed to place deed restrictions on the remaining wetlands and pay an in lieu of on-site mitigation fee to the Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission.
