dredging is to allow safe boat passage. Approximately 20,000 cubic yards of material is
proposed for removal and will be disposed of in the CLIS disposal site. The project is

operate a nuclear pharmacy. Cardinal Health Nuclear
Pharmacy typically prepares and transports the radiopharmaceuticals that it distributes in
single-dose form such as a syringe. Once the dose is administered at the medical facility,
the spent syringe is returned to the nuclear pharmacy where is undergoes decay in storage.
Eventually, the syringes are transferred to a medical waste hauler for disposal. The new
facility will be located at Fairfield Corporate Center, 25 Fairfield Avenue, Suite 100,
Plainview, NY 11803.

The Department has prepared
a Draft Permit pursuant
to Article 19 (Air State Facility) of the
New York State Environmental Conservation Law (ECL) and made a tentative determination to
approve this application for the Applicant’s facility located in Suffolk County, New York.
SEALIT, Inc. operates
a commercial printer utilizing flexographic and gravure printing presses,
with catalytic oxidizers for emission control of VOCs, and adhesive applicator machines, located
in Farmingdale, New York. This Air State Facility Application has been submitted in
satisfaction to the requirement of the Compliance Schedule of the Order on Consent (Order) No.
R-120030312-63. The Order requires the submission of a revised air permit application
combining the operation of No. 70 and No. 50 Schmitt Boulevard printing facilities in
accordance with 6NYCRR Part 201-5 and Part 201-7 to maintain emission capping using
synthetic minor permit. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) emissions will be capped at 22.5
tons per year (tpy).
The facility will
be permitted under the New York State regulations 6NYCRR Part 2015 (State
Facility Permits) and Part 2017 (Federally Enforceable Emission Caps), and will be subjected to
the state regulations Part 228 (Surface Coating Processes) and Part 234 (Graphic Arts).
By acceptance of
this permit, the permittee agrees that the permit is contingent upon strict
compliance with ECL, all applicable regulations, the General Conditions specified and any
special conditions as part of this permit.
The Application and
Draft Permit are available for review at the Regional Office of the New
York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

install a stormwater treatment system. The installation will
include the removal of 44 linear feet of existing pipe, excavation of approximately 70

disturbance will remain completely within the Montauk Highway right-of-way. The
purpose of the project is to reduce the pollutants to Champlin Creek which are associated
