Negative Declaration

Nassau County - The Nassau County Planning Commission on behalf of the Nassau County Legislature, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed construction of parking facility for Mitchel Field Recreation complex museum and area office use will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of an approximately 5.5 acre (approximately 800 spaces) parking facility at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex property to accommodate demand from recreational, cultural and office uses in area. The project location is Mitchel Field Athletic Complex, Charles Lindbergh Blvd., Uniondale, Nassau County.

Suffolk County - The Board of Trustees of the Village of Port Jefferson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Refurbishment and Reconstruction of Bayles Shipyard Building will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the refurbishment and reconstruction of the Bayles Park facilities into a village center including associated park facilities and seasonal ice-skating rink. The project also includes improvements to the Harbor-Front Park entrance, plaza and roadway for improved pedestrian and vehicular flow and safety. The project is located in the Marina-Waterfront M-W District, on the north side of East Broadway, approximately fifty feet from the intersection of East Broadway and East Main Street in the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson, Suffolk County, New York and is identified as Suffolk County Tax Parcel Number 206-008.00-01.00-010.003.

The project is located in the Single-Family Residence R-A District, on the north side of Fairway Drive Broadway, in the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson, Suffolk County, New York and is identified as Suffolk County Tax Parcel Number 206-003-02-001.001.
