The project site is located within the adjacent area of NYSDEC regulated Class I Freshwater Wetland NA-9 (Dongan Hills). The property is located at 18 Iroquois Street, Staten Island, Block 3860 - Lot 1. This property is also subject to the Staten Island Wetlands Protection Law. This law imposes a moratorium on issuance of NYSDEC Freshwater Wetland permits in this area. Therefore, NYSDEC can not issue a permit for the proposed project until conclusion of the moratorium.
