Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of East Hampton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Talmage Minor Subdivision may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on March 17, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall, 159 Pantigo Place, East Hampton, NY. The scoping session will solicit input into the preparation of this document. A copy of the draft scope is available for review in the Planning Board offices at 300 Pantigo Place. Comments may be made at the meeting or submitted in writing prior to the close of the meeting. The project involves D.L. Talmage, Inc., owners of the parcel making an application to subdivide a vacant, wooded, 5.9 acre parcel located on Wolf's Hole Road, an unopened Trustee road, into four commercial lots that will permit up to 8 commercial industrial or 16 service commercial uses. The parcel is zoned Commercial Industrial/Water Recharge Overlay District and is located in the Pine Barrens and South Fork Special Groundwater Protection Area. A 25,768 square foot reserved area is proposed. Access to the project would necessitate opening Wolf's Hole Road, an unopened 33' wide Trustee Road for a distance of up to 7,200LF. The parcel is identified as SCTM#300-192-3-2.
