Jefferson County - The Town Board of the Town of Alexandria, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Redwood Water District - Water Distribution System will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a water distribution system to provide potable water to residences and businesses along NYS Route 26, County Route 192 and the Hamlet of Redwood NYS Route 37, Town of Alexandria. The project would eliminate contaminated on site water supplies. The project will include the installation of approximately 23,200 LF of 8" and 30,000 LF of 12" Ductile Iron Pipe Mains, 25,200 LF of 3/4" Copper Service Laterals, Curb and Corporation Stops, Fire Hydrants, and a 150,000 Gallon Elevated Storage Tank. Water for the proposed District will be supplied by the Village of Alexandria Bay.

SERP Action - Negative Declaration

Oneida County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Town of Kirkland, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Kirkland-Route 5 Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves construction of a municipal water system to serve the residents and businesses located with the proposed Route 5 Water District. Water for the proposed system will be supplied by the Mohawk Valley Water Authority. The project is located in the Town of Kirkland, Oneida County.
